Lia Transport Services is a growing tech driven trucking company. We are seeking immediate employment for a safe and reliable local CDL- A truck driver with port experience out of Jacksonville terminals. Unique opportunity to work as a dedicated carrier to a warehouse 6 miles from Blount Island Terminal. Vast majority of work will be going to and from port to warehouse from First Pick Stacks. Drivers will have first access to dock doors and company dispatcher is within warehouse. We pay per container dropped at warehouse. Starting at $50.00 / turn, we anticipate 4-6 turns a day.

Qualifications

At least 21 years old, with TWO (2) year minimum driving experience, within the last FIVE (5) years
Port experience required
TWIC Card required
DOT Medical Card required
Must have a good driving record
Drug test and clearinghouse check required

Responsibilities

Consistent drop and pick lane.
Occasional pick at alternate locations will be negotiated on case by case basis.
Ability to pick container from port and deliver in a timely fashion to customer
Ability to utilize driver apps including but not limited to: ELD and dispatch applications on smart phone.
Accurately complete paperwork and communicate with dispatch and customers as needed.
Daily Pre and post trip inspections
Early morning start, home at nights and weekends
