Self Employed Owner/Operator OTR trucking

Responsibilities:- Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including forklifts, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, route driving, and tankers.- Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles.- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo.- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
Qualifications:- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.- Previous experience in operating the specific type of vehicle(s) required for the position.- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.- Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road.- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Please note, this is an owner Operator position with your own Authority, I am not a carrier or Broker just an independent dispatcher.
I handle all commercially regulated vehicles except cargo vans- sprinter style vans as the market for these types of vehicles is not conducive to a fair profit for either carrier or myself.
