Position Description:
2 Years Minimum OTR Experience/ Class A License
No Accidents in the Previous 3 years
No At Fault Accidents in Previous 5 Years
No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years.
No DUIs in the Previous 7 years
No Positive Drug Screens in the Previous 7 years
Must be able to meet background screening requirements from the US Postal Service
Drivers in this position will be based in our Nashville, TN terminal and primarily in the Southeast and Midwest Regions.
Equipment:
53-foot dry van trailer
2023 or newer automatic tractors.
34 HR resets at home
Flexible Home Time – Most Routes are back in Nashville every other day. Drivers who live near our standard lanes will be home more often.
Standard Running Lanes:
Nashville to Dallas, TX
Nashville to Chicago, IL
Nashville to Jacksonville, FL
Nashville to Orlando, FL
Nashville to Savannah, GA
2,500 – 3,300 miles per week
Starting Pay at .54 CPM

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Operate company owned/leased trucks to facilitate the movement of US Mail operations and Freight operations.
Operate company owned/leased trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of US Mail and Freight.
Perform required before, during, and after-operation inspections on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to shop personnel; clean equipment and required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pickup operations of US Mail and Freight.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
