Class A CDL End Dump Driver
Looking for an experienced & dependable driver to transport material (concrete/dirt) in a safe and timely manner. Efficiently operate a tractor-trailer end dump. Load/Unload/Deliver to an assigned route. Experience hauling in the Houston area. Monday – Friday (Possible Saturday). Pay by the load/percentage. Must have class A CDL.

Responsibilities

Transport materials to and from designated job sites
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and preventative maintenance
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Document and log work and retain fuel/toll receipts
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods)
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

Proven work experience as a CLASS A CDL truck driver
Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
No recent moving or driving violations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
Valid CLASS A CDL truck driving license

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
