“`Duties“`- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers.- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.- Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
“`Experience“`- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.- Ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers.- Familiarity with using pallet jacks or other equipment for loading and unloading cargo.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is a plus.
