Responsibilities:- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including delivery trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and more.- Load and unload cargo or materials using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status.- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.
Qualifications:- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.- Minimum of [X] years of experience in commercial driving.- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.- Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Skills:- Delivery driver experience- Ability to drive various types of trucks (roll-off truck, tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, dump truck)- Experience with loading and unloading cargo- Commercial driving experience- Route driving experience- Forklift operation experience
