“`Duties“`- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including forklifts, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
“`Qualifications“`- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., tanker, manual transmission)- Proven experience in route driving and operating heavy equipment- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus- Ability to safely load, secure, and unload various types of cargo- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
