CDL A Job Description
As a CDL A Linehaul Driver with US CARGO, you primarily drive during overnight hours from terminal-to-terminal or to a relay point and then return to your home terminal. We ask that all our CDL A drivers perform all duties in accordance with company polices and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle.
CDL A Responsibilities
Drives a commercial vehicle safely primarily in our road operation during overnight hours
May occasionally have to make a customer delivery or pickup.
Securing of freight may be required through strapping or other methods
Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
CDL A Requirements/Qualifications
A minimum age of 25 years of age.
Must have at least two years of CDL A experience OR one year of experience with diploma from a driving school
Must obtain a Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months.
