Duties:
– Operate a Semi Truck.- Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations.- Follow assigned routes for delivery and pick-up of goods.- Ensure proper handling and securement of cargo during transportation.- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or damages.- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A Driver’s license with a clean driving record.- Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects if needed.- Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety.- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends or evenings if required.
